There are a couple of shows happening these last couple weeks of April that I'm very excited about. First off, on April 21st (tonight!) I'll be playing with Matt Ulery's Pollinator opening for Rebirth Brass Band at Martyrs'. There will be much music keeping your noggin' bobbing *and your feet tapping (other movements highly encouraged as well).
Sunday April 23rd I'll be hitting at the Whistler in Logan Sq with Greg Ward's "Capturing Sunlight", a hefty sized band featuring some of my favorite musicians in Chicago.
Sunday April 30th I'm leading a super fun afternoon of family friendly Jazz at Township in Logan Sq. First set we'll explore the traditional Jazz instruments and how they interact, and the second set we'll play some music to try and capture the attention of the full family.
